Dawn Song


Dawn is CEO and co-founder of Oasis Labs and a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California at Berkeley. Dawn has spent significant time researching and building security and privacy technologies, specifically in the areas of software, networking, distributed systems, applied cryptography, blockchains, smart contracts, and machine learning. She has been recognized for contributions in computer security through numerous prestigious awards including the MacArthur Fellowship, the Guggenheim Fellowship, the Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship, the NSF CAREER Award, the MIT Technology Review TR-35 Award, the Faculty Research Award from IBM, Google and other major tech companies, and Best Paper Awards from top conferences in Computer Security and Deep Learning. She is ranked the most cited scholar in computer security (AMiner Award). She is a serial entrepreneur, including Ensighta Security (acquired by FireEye Inc.) and Menlo Security. She obtained her PhD from UC Berkeley.

Raymond Cheng


Raymond is CTO and co-founder of Oasis Labs, as well as a research scientist, open source software developer, and blockchain lecturer. His research interest lies in building practical systems for security and privacy. He has made contributions in a wide range of areas in distributed systems and security, including creating a networking project that was productionized by Google into Outline. Raymond obtained his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington, and graduated from MIT with degrees in Physics (Bachelor of Science), Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering).

Noah Johnson

Chief Product Officer

Noah Johnson is CPO and co-founder of Oasis Labs with expertise in program analysis, security policy enforcement, and privacy-preserving techniques. Noah recently developed the first practical system to provide differential privacy for general statistical queries. This work was featured in Wired and Gizmodo, and is in use today by Uber. Noah obtained his PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley and received several awards as a graduate student including the Signature Innovation Fellowship, Sevin Rosen Award for Innovation, and Tony Leong Lim Pre-Doctoral Award. Previously Noah co-led a team of students in the development of DroidBlaze, a platform for automated security analysis and policy enforcement for mobile applications. Noah and advisor Dawn Song commercialized the DroidBlaze platform by founding Ensighta Security, which was acquired by FireEye in 2012.



Bobby Jaros


Bobby is co-founder and COO of Oasis Labs and was the previous CEO of Lookflow, which he founded out of the Stanford PhD program to commercialize deep learning. Lookflow was acquired by Yahoo in 2013 to power image search at Flickr. Bobby has worked in machine learning research at Yahoo Labs, principal investing at Goldman Sachs, and strategy at Nokia. He earned a bachelor’s degree (Terman Scholar) and a master’s degree (Mayfield Fellow) in electrical engineering from Stanford, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
